The Real Deal: We use deal trackers and commerce experience to sift through “fake” hike-and-drop deals and other deceptive sales tactics. Products will usually be rated at least 4 stars with a minimum 15% discount (and when there’s an exception, we’ll tell you why). If you’re looking for a new tablet to search the net, catch up with your reading or stream your favorite shows, today’s a great day to consider nabbing an Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet while they’re on sale. But here’s the deal: Amazon is slashing the prices of two very specific models of its newest tablets. In one corner, we have the 64 GB version with lock screen ads for $139.99, 39% off its original price. In the other, we have the 128 GB version without lock screen ads at 45% off.
The latest and, according to several users, fastest Fire tablet in the roster, the Max 11 has super-fast processing speeds, claims to be three times as durable as a 10th-generation iPad, has a hearty 14-hour battery life and a vivid 11-inch screen with a brilliant 2000 x 1200 resolution for crispy content. Your choice of savings may vary, but in either case, these are sweet discounts off what reviewers call “the best bang for your buck.”
If you’re wondering how this tablet differs from previous iterations, check these specs: 2K resolution and an 11-inch screen; a octa-core processor and 4 GB of memory for handling multiple apps and tasks at once, including gaming; a longer battery life; a thinner, more refined model with less bezel; 8 MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for photos and video calls; and a tougher shell in case you’re accident prone.
Depending on the model you choose, you’re getting either 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage, but you can expand that with a microSD card in either case. Optionally, you can nab a separate stylus and keyboard to update that tablet into a workstation.
“All in all, I still think you’re getting a lot more for your money with this tablet than the others,” says one reviewer. “Amazon’s reach with e-readers, with keyboards, with stylus peripherals, with tablets, and their resources and supply chain (ie, being able to order unusual tablet SoCs) has definitely given the Kindle Fire 11 a wider spread of abilities and better quality than your ordinary budget tablet. I can’t really name anything I’d expect to be better for the price.”

“I am over the moon with JOY!!! Okay so I had a Fire Tablet 8 that was just slow and I contemplated getting a new one for months! 🤷🏽♀️Just my personality Lol. I have ALOT of books in excess of 1,000 in my home office/library…ikr 😞 it’s an addiction CHIIIILLLEE🙃 I had them on my iPad so now I can centralize them to one place…for the perfectionist in me 😎 This was delivered this morning it took me all of 5 minutes to set up. All my books are here and the graphics …BABEEE are exquisite!!! It’s bright, bold and beautiful which I LOVE I geek out on tech things I need my tech items to be sharp, slick and FAST. So this Fire Tablet 11+ is perfection! I’m so glad I “placed my order”. I love to READ and now I can have my books with me all the time I’m sooooo STINKING Happy 😊 Go for it you won’t regret it. 🙌🏾” — Patrice G.

“Technically this is an excellent machine. We use the 8 and 10 inch sizes in industry because of value for the dollar and they have spectacular durability (even of they aren’t the fastest on the market) I have used fire tablets every single generation since the first. They have NEVER disappointed me. I am running 3 fire tablets now, in addition to cell phone and laptop. An 8 a 10 and this 11. I use the 8 for reading books and surfing while traveling or at work, and the 10 for when I am at home. This model may be a bit too large for many purposes. It works superbly, but it is inconvenient to hold as a tablet. I finally decided to buy the keyboard cover and use the 11 inch as a fake laptop for when I am being a road warrior and need something lighter and smaller than my full blown “desktop replacement” level laptop. for that purpose, i am very satisfied, but as a tablet only it was too cumbersome for my taste.
I STRONGLY recommend ALL fire tablets for home and industrial use as the best bang for the buuck It gets even better when they release a new model and you can trade your old one in to get the newer, better model, for only a few dollars after sale, trade in, and bonus percentage discount when you trade something in!!!!! On MOST electronic items I trade in every two years or two generations. With kindle fires, because of the deals we get for trading in, i replace every single generation” — HR Hamada

“I have been through several Alexa Echo/Amazon Fire devices, and this one is my favorite. I should stress that I am not a business or work user. I’m retired, so this tablet is primarily for entertainment purposes. It does seem to have a faster processor than the HD 10 which I had before. Things download faster and there’s less buffering. I do wish that it had an earphone jack. It does offer Bluetooth connectivity, but I haven’t tried it as I really dislike Bluetooth. I do recommend getting the attachable keyboard, as it really does increase your productivity, and the grey tweedy fabric covering is really nice. I like this tablet a lot, but then again, I am not a very demanding user.” — Scooterboy

“I purchased this reluctantly but was so surprised how happy I am with it. I watch movies and videos and have read 27 books for free with it. Really sharp resolution on the screen. Highly recommend it.” — Kgparkhurst
